I was born and raised in Portugal, but life changed dramatically when I was 9. In 2015, as Portugal faced a challenging economic downturn, my parents made the tough decision to move our family to the UK in search of better opportunities. They wanted a brighter future for me and my sisters, and that move became a turning point in my life, shaping me into the person I am today.
From 9 to 18 years old, I attended Catholic schools in the UK, which deeply influenced my upbringing and brought me closer to my faith. However, stepping into university life opened up new perspectives for me. It allowed me to explore different beliefs, cultures, and experiences that gradually transformed my worldview.
I currently attend Swansea University, located in Wales' picturesque seaside region. I chose to study there because I wanted to escape the buzz of London. After living in the city for years, I realized I wanted to explore different facets of British culture, and Swansea has been the perfect place to do just that. Its vibrant yet laid-back atmosphere has given me a fresh perspective on life in the UK.
