Tennis at Swansea

Life at Swansea University

During my first and second years at Swansea University, I found my stride as a tennis player. Competing for the university team was both exhilarating and demanding, providing me with a strong foundation in discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. Swansea's dynamic sporting community motivated me to push boundaries and embrace every match as an opportunity to grow. However, my story took an exciting twist when I embarked on an exchange program in Groningen, Netherlands.

My Exchange Journey to Groningen

Playing Lacrosse

In Groningen, I traded my tennis racket for a lacrosse stick—and I couldn't be happier. I initially joined to try something different but quickly fell in love with the game. Soon enough, I competed in professional matches, fully immersing myself in lacrosse's fast-paced and thrilling world. It's been a joy to connect with new teammates, and joining the PR team for Lacrosse and the activities committee has enriched my experience further by allowing me to support and promote the sport off the field as well.

Ballet Dancing

My Early Passion for Dance

Before my adventures in tennis and lacrosse, I spent my childhood immersed in ballet. From 7 to 16, I dedicated myself to dance, refining grace, discipline, and expression. Although I eventually chose to focus more on my academics, my years of ballet taught me invaluable lessons that still influence how I move through life today.

Beyond Sports

When I'm not on the field or court, I'm passionate about languages. Learning different languages allows me to connect with diverse cultures and expand my horizons. While I've had to put some of my language goals on hold due to a busy schedule, they remain an enduring interest I hope to revisit soon.
