PROGRESS LOG

THIS PAGE IS DEDICATED TO DOCUMENT THE ELEMENTS I MODIFY EACH COURSE WEEK. YOU CAN READ MY LOG FOR EACH WEEK DOWN BELOW.

WEEK 2

• started using a stylesheet instead of having the same codes repeat on every page
• changed the background color to have a more aesthetic look
• added header and navigation bar to the side by using DIV
• changed the header font, centered it and made it all caps
• modified the margins to create a more appealing look
• the navigation menu was in the format of a list. i deleted the list function because it felt unnecesary and used line breaks instead.
• added images

WEEK 3

• added an image map as well as additional eyes, ear and mouth pages
• added titles to all of the photos (except for those on the homepage) so that when people hover over them with a mouse, there is a short description of what the image is
• added a fourth image to the "about me" page which is the thumbnail and a link button for the bigger version on the "map page"

WEEK 4

• added a new page "banana cinnamon pancakes" and linked it through the "about me" page
• followed the assignment intstructions to construct the contents of this page

WEEK 5

• the navigation button of the currently active page has a lightgrey background color now
• side bar and title background colors are now gradient
• added the container div codes to my css file

WEEK 6

• added a "usability review" page to the website and to the navigation bar
