About me
Hey! I'm Adriana Rodriguez, a 21–year–old Spanish exchange student at the University of Groningen (RUG).
I'm passionate about languages. I'm a native speaker of both Spanish and Galician, fluent in English at a C2 level, and have a C1 in French. I'm also pretty comfortable with Portuguese at an intermediate level. Therefore, for me, learning languages isn't just about grammar and vocabulary; it's about building bridges and connecting with people from every corner of the globe.

Ourense
I was born in Ourense, a charming little city in Galicia, nestled in the north of Spain. With a population of just 100,000, it's famous for its stunning bridges that span the Miño River and for its thermal, healing waters, which are perfect for a relaxing soak.
But there's more to Ourense than just the city! The surrounding landscapes are breathtaking, with lush forests, rolling green hills, and winding rivers, all set against the backdrop of majestic mountains. It's a slice of natural paradise that feels like something out of a fairy tale.
Now, let's talk food! Galicia is legendary for its cuisine. But there's one dish that stands out, and it might seem a bit unusual: octopus. In the small village of Carballiño, right here in the province of Ourense, there's a famous dish called "pulpo á feira." It's a simple but delicious recipe: tender octopus served with potatoes, seasoned with paprika, salt, and a drizzle of olive oil. It might sound strange, but trust me, it's a true delicacy. If you ever get the chance, don’t miss out!
