Work Log

The first week was my first contact with HTML. I really liked learning about this topic because it made me investigate and gossip about different websites and platforms to support my knowledge.

We have created our first web page with entries to four different pages, I have learned to save them and open them in the browser, as well as creating hyperlinks within the pages so that they are all accessible without having to return to the main page.

I liked the second week more, since I noticed that the theory given in class was much more applied and that we created much more advanced things. I was able to give a much more personal style to the page by knowing how to customize the titles, fonts, squares and layout of the page. In general, making the website much more to my liking.

I also created the page which you are now viewing, which is intended to keep a continuous journal of the subject.

This week was focused on creating a Image map, something that was completely new for me. At first I thought it was going to be so hard for me, as I am not even used to using Photoshop. But finally, everything turned out pretty fine.

This week we have focused on creating a new page dedicated to Sweet Strawberry Waffles, and being able to attach it to our home page.
We have not only recovered actions already done such as inserting images or videos on the page, but we have also learned the importance of positioning a page by creating keywords and everything that it requires.

This week we checked our websites in order to see if everything was included and well developed. I also had the chance to enhance my navigation bar such as marking active each item in the menu.
Besides, I checked for the first time how does my website look like from a mobile phone, which turned off pretty fine.

This week, we reviewed our classmates websites in order to ensure all elements were properly included. I had the chance to evauate all the requested elements on a mates´web and then include all my review in my own page.
