Ingredients:
- 600 ml whole milk
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 250 ml fresh heavy cream
- 250 g sugar
- 1 vanilla pod
Instructions:
- Heat the heavy cream and milk in a pot.
- Scrape the inside of the vanilla pod and add both the inside and outside of it, as well as the sugar to the pot.
- Cook on low heat for 5 minutes and stir well with a whisk.
- Let cool completely.
- Pour the mixture into the ice cream maker and let it run for at least 45 minutes.
- In the meantime, chop the chocolate into pieces and add it in during the last few minutes.
- Scoop the ice cream into a container and let it rest in the freezer for at least 2 hours before eating it.
- Serve and enjoy!
