Here he proposes that a communication media itself, not the message it carries, should be the primary focus of study. He showed that artifacts such as media affect any society by their characteristics or content.

Arthur Sulzberger will be joining us for our debate about citizen journalism. Sulzberger is an American journalist serving as chairman of The New York Times Company and publisher of its flagship newspaper The New York Times.

Mireille van Ark used to be the editor in chief of Dutch Newsradio BNR. Since 2022 she is the adjunct-editor in chief of RTL Nieuws, one of the biggest Dutch commercial news networks.

Yvonne started her career in a Dutch children's television show, but is now mostly known for her gossip account on social media. These days Yvonne is in the media a lot for leaking video's of famous Dutch people. Yvonne will be opening the debate about 'Gossip' defending her side of the story.
