In the first week I build the foundation for the website. Meaning that I made the homepage as well as the other three pages: about me, my studies and my hobby's. This week I got familiarzed with the HTML codes and the basic rules.
WEEK 2
In the second week I started working on the style of the website. So, I worked on the colors and layout of the pages. I added a navigation menu and tried to make it somewhat pretty. I also added another page which is this one, to track the process of the changes I am making to the site. For next week I am thinking about changing the navigation menu and adding some pictures for example as I do not have those right now.
WEEK 3
This week I added an image to my homepage and my about me page. I used the application Grimp to change the sizing of the image. Then I made a image map linking my eyes, ear, and mouth to three different external pages differing from what I like to watch, listen to, and eat.
WEEK 4
I added a new page this week about Sweet Strawberry Waffles. I added a recipe and some tips as well as a frequently asked section in an attempt to pop up higher on Google. I resized the two images I used the same way I learned to do in the previous week. I also used to list function again I learned in the first week.
WEEK 5
For this week I did not change that much to my website. I used a container div in order for my elements to stay centered on the pages regardless of the size of the screen of the device you are using for example. I also made my text align justified instead of centered. I already had a navigation menu so I did not need to add this.
WEEK 6
In week 6 I reviewed another peers website. I thought it was pretty fun to see what someone elses sites looks like. I added another page for the review and also had to change my navigation menu a little bit in order for it to be all one line and not two lines.
