My studies include many different aspects of communication, but it's not only about that! The main three themes of my courses, at least to me, seem to be:
Communication types include courses such as:
Meanwhile research courses are courses that I see as courses that either teach us how to do research, what types of research there are and courses that make us do our own research, like with the course Questionnaire and Interview Design where we all collaborated to research social cohension in a neighbourhood in Groningen. Another course that teaches us about an aspect of research was Statistics I, where we were taught how to work with our data.
Finally, my least favourite category of courses are linguistical courses, courses that focus on language and it's meaning. These include:
Personally, I really dislike these courses, and they are most definitely not the reason why I chose CIS.
