Updates
Week 1:
The first week of this new course, we got to know the goals of this course. Furthermore, we met the basic structure of a HTML document, and finished our first assignment.
For this assignment we had to make 4 webpages, which are all linked together. One homepage (index), a page about ourself, our studies, and our hobbies.
Week 2:
This week we made our pages a bit prettier. We putted our text in DIV's, used colors for text and background, used different fonts. Shortly, we chose a lay-out for our pages.
Week 3:
This week was all about images. We learned about pixels, photoshop, cropping, inserting links in pictures and more.
For the assignment we had to crop an image and insert three links, one for what we like to see, one for what we like to hear, one for what we like to eat.
Week 4:
This week we wrote about stracciatella ice cream! Unfortunately only writing about it, tasting was not included. I wrote something about the dish, its history, how to enjoy it, and I added a picture.
Week 5:
This week we uniformed all our pages, the focus was on design. We added containers to our stylesheet, made a max width of 800px and 545px for text. I also changed the navigation menu with fancy colors and an active menu.
Week 6:
This last week of the weekly assignment we had to review someone's website. I made a new page for this review, and reviewed his site on different subjects. Every subject was seperated with different headings. I learned a lot from this, seeing how another person interpreted the assignments, made me change some things on my own website as well.
