Her log page

This page is about her progress in creating her first website.

Week 1

During this week, she created 4 html pages: homepage, about her, her studies, and her hobbies. She played around with the color of the text and the background. She added a basic navigation menu.

Week 2

In this week, she created an external stylesheet, which meant that she had to delete all the color text and background. She changed the font and the style of the text to offer the website a consistent look.
She added a div block for the navigation menu and one for her content. She added this page. She played around with the width and margins of the div blocks. She had fun.

Week 3

During this week, she added new pages, she made a image map and she worked in the fake Photoshop, "Photopea". She had so much fun.

Week 4

This week, she created a new page for the stracciatella ice cream dish and worked on optimizing it for Google. She also added a lot of pictures using the techniques she learned last week to make the page more engaging and user-friendly.

Week 5

This week she made changed the design of her website.

Week 6

She wrote the review for Cato's website, evaluating its usability, navigation, readability, and overall user experience. As she analyzed elements like scanability, clarity of navigation, link styling, and the presence of "happy talk," she gained valuable insights into what makes a website truly user-friendly.

Going through the review process also made her reflect on her own website. She realized that there were still several areas for improvement. Inspired by this, she began cutting down words, changing layouts and adding bolded text.
