Review of Naomi James her website:

To start with, I want to say that I really like Naomi's color scheme (not only because it is similar to mine ;). The white text is a good contrast to the darker coloured background.
The navigation of the website is also very clear on a prominent location on top of the page, however I directly notice that only the home navigation is made active, this might be confusing for visitors, since it is inconsistent with the rest of the navigation. Besides that it is quite noticeable that there are white margins on the side of the website, this gives the website kind of a cropped look.
When I click on the hobbies page I notice that part of the text is not visible since the text is white and it overlaps with the white margins. The bullet points used to list her hobies are in black, which make them less visible, furthermore they are not next to her hobies which kind of leaves them random on her page. Other than that, the text is in the right corner of the website which seems like a random place for the text. However, the most important part of the text is a distinct title, this makes it clear what the content on the page is about.
The homepage does clearly introduce the purpose of the website, however the other content on the website is quite simple (just a few words and no sentences), which is not a lot, the so called "happy talk" is therefore kind of missing.
On the "about me" page I see a very big (pretty) picture, however it overlaps with the text, besides that I think it is a bit too big for the small website, since the picture covers half of the page. The title stands out since it is bigger than the other text, which looks nice. Nevertheless, the text is again centered on the right bottom, it is also centered instead of left aligned which makes it less easy to read. On top of that, part of the text is on the picture which gives it a messy look.
The "my studies" page is consistent with the other pages, meaning it has the same background, font and placement of the text. This is a nice consistency that helps with the usability of the website. Nevertheless, the bulllet points are again in black which makes them less visible, also the text is centered instead of left aligned.
The last page is about the Apple strudel. The picture of the strudel is again a bit too big for the website, it is also a bit randomly placed in the left corner. In addition to this the white text overlaps a bit with the picture, which makes it look messy.

Potential improvements:

The first thing I would change is the cropped look of the website, I would advise Naomi to redo her html code so that the webpage covers the entire screen, instead of just this small square
The next thing I would adjust is the text, I would create a div that centers the text to the middle of the page, I would also make the text left-aligned so that it is easier to read.
Aditionally, I would make the images smaller so that they do not overlap with the text.
Furthermore, I would adjust the navigation menu and make every tab active, making one tab active might me confusing for the user, I would also remove the underlining since this gives the impression that it is active.
