European languages and cultures
I study European languages and cultures at the University of Groningen. Within my study I specialise in European politics and the Dutch language. As an elective I am taking Minorities in Europe which includes courses from the Minorities & Multilingualism programme.
Digital Humanities
I am currently following courses from the minor programme Digital Humanities where different humanities topics are explored with the help of computer technology. The courses that I've enjoyed the most include Coding for Humanities, Databases and Web design (this website is actually created as part of this course). Taking this minor has made me more interested in learning more about computer science. At the moment I am looking into applying for a Master's programme of the same name or the programme Information Science which is part of the degree in Communication & Information Studies.
