  • On this page, I am reviewing Stijn van Zwieteren web design page. In general, I think the webpage has a clear and nice appearance. When I first saw the website I immediately thought of a professional website. That's why I think the website has an effective visual hierarchy. It is clear that the selection menu is on the left, and that you can go to different pages. I also like that when you click on a title in the navigation menu, the background changes to galaxy, very original. However, I do not find it clear on the homepage that the photo is clickable, this could perhaps be stated better. But in general it is a clean website, clear where you can find what information. Also, the text is easy to scan.
When I look at the text it is generally informative. What his hobbies are, study, and who he is. He does talk in 'my studies' about how he enjoys the courses more this year than he did last year, so this can be seen as happy talk.
The navigation menu is very user friendly, as it is clear where to click and what information you will find. Its menu contains all the necessary pages that the website should have so that's perfect.
The homepage does not indicate clearly what the website is about. Since only an image, name, student number and the name of the course are indicated. So perhaps with a text this could give the user more information about what they can expect from the website.
I can't think of any more improvements for Stijn's web page as it contains all the points of the weekly assignments. I think Sem's page is very nice, professional and user-friendly, well done!
