We are the Groningen University Institute for the Development of Education, which is a RUG related non-profit organisation that brings together visionaries in the field of academics and communication.
We launched LinguaPlay in 2023, which is a new branch under the Groningen University Institute for the Development of Education where we focus on designing creating new and fun linguistic and language courses for higher education. We started in March 2019 and have since then grown to an organisation of 4 staff-members and numerous volunteers.
These permanent staff-members are:
Director at Talk2Groningen. She has a great social network and attends every online event that features Groningen.
People love her enthusiasm for Groningen and its beauty. Besides being director, she is also a part-time photographer.
In her local prize winning photos, you can see her keen eye for detail.
Benedict is a full-time lecturer at the RUG. Not a day is the same for him and that is what he loves about his job.
He is a well-known person who attracts publicity and that is great news for this new course and meeting!
In Annie (or Ann as friends call her)'s every day life she is, besides a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts, an artist who is very active on social media.
Her Instagram account has more than 32,000 followers.
In her posts she reflects on art pieces and reviews many online events and expositions.
Bjorn is our youngest staff member and is mostly interested in the technical aspects of online communication.
As he is a Communication student and nerd, he began posting videos on YouTube, reviewing gadgets, which now has more than 25,000 subscribers.
