Politico Europe vs Euractiv Debate website
Welcome to the official website designed in the anticipation of the Politico Europe vs Euractiv debate battle which will take place on March 3, 2023 at 17:30 at the Harmoniegebouw of the University of Groningen.
This event will not just be a simple debate between a couple of experts! It will be a democratic experiment where we rely on your participation. There will be five speeches by our guest speakers: two by people involved with the two respective newspapers and three by experts in the field of European politics. During the two debates regulated by a moderator, the audience will be involved in a discussion on politics, the EU, responsible journalism and wherever else the conversation takes us.
The debate is being organized by the Social Media Union Groningen, a non-profit organisation working to improve the quality of media reporting. We would like to thank our guest speakers as well as our generous sponsors for making this event possible.
