Key speakers

Melisa Novak
Melisa will be joining us all the way from Scotland, where she lives with her wife and two cats. She has studied at the University of Glasgow, where she did her Master's in Child Development and Education. Moreover, she wrote the New York Times bestseller Children and technology . If anyone knows anything about children, education, and technology, it's Melisa.
Leyla Karimi
Leyla is a 16-year old student. She is a hands-on expert in the field of education today, as she is currently in her last year of high school. She will be discussing the effects the internet and technology have had on her education experience.
David Roelemijer
David will be joining the debate as a professional in the field of technological development. His educational program has been used in over 200 schools all over the Netherlands. He believes technology and the internet will revolutionize the way we educate our children.
Alex Martell
Alex will be joining us as an expert in education. They have been teaching History for five years in secundary education. Within the second year of their teaching position, their school enforced the use of technology and personal tablets for all their students. Alex has noticed a huge difference in teaching since then.
Cath & Wendy Kolijn
Cath will be joining us with her daughter Wendy as hands-on experts within the educational system. Cath has just finished college, Wendy has just been enrolled in primary school. Their generations could not be more different when it comes to the implimentation of technology and the internet in education.
